Dismissal of DUI / DWI Charges After .25 BAC Unlawfully Obtained Due to Illegal Search of Client's Home in Glen Burnie District Court - Anne Arundel County, Maryland

Client charged with DUI, DWI and leaving the scene of an accident after backing into another car at the bar and leaving, failing field sobriety tests, and a BAC of .25. We demonstrated that the police entry into our client’s home to investigate the leaving the scene of an accident allegation was unlawful. As such, all statements and tests performed by our client were not admissible in evidence. After our client admitted to a minor ticket, the State dismissed the DUI, DWI and all other serious traffic offenses.

DIsmissal of DUI / DWI Charges For Client with .17 BAC

Client charged with DUI, DWI after illegally attempting to drive onto NSA, failing field sobriety tests, having 9 empty beer cans in his car, and a BAC of .17. At trial, the State was unable to produce the NSA law enforcement officials who stopped our client’s vehicle. Our client admitted to a minor traffic ticket and the State dismissed the more serious DUI, DWI charges.

Not Guilty DUI / DWI Verdict in Glen Burnie District Court - Anne Arundel County, Maryland

Client charged with DUI, DWI after being stopped by police for erratic driving. Client failed field sobriety tests, admitted drinking “3-4 beers” and refused the breath test. At trial, we were able to establish through a witness who was with my client at the restaurant, and who was following him home, that our client was not impaired by alcohol. NOT GUILTY VERDICT.
