There is a VERY good chance that, once a Protective Order is placed against you, criminal charges will soon follow. Fighting the Protective Order is extremely important. Contesting the Protective Order will allow us to place the accuser under oath, cross-examine the accuser, and potentially win your hearing. We have successfully prevailed for our clients in defending their criminal charges, and/or received more favorable results for our clients, because of the results we achieved at the Final Protective Order hearing. We will fight for you.

There is a very small window of time, usually one week, once the Temporary Order is granted against you, until the date of your Final Hearing. You cannot waste time or procrastinate.  Contact us immediately to plan your best course of action.

PEACE ORDER

DO NOT CONSENT TO A FINAL PEACE ORDER WITHOUT CONSULTING WITH AN ATTORNEY!  You need Fischer & Putzi, P.A. to fully understand your rights. We will plan the best course of action for you. There are many important issues at stake - you can be ordered to stop contacting certain people and to stay away from places you normally go.

People commonly say, “I’ll just stay away from that person and that will be the end of it.” No big deal, right? WRONG!!  The reason why: if you violate the Peace Order it is a criminal offense. Why would you ever give another person the chance to charge you with a criminal offense, especially a person who does not like you and who may not be honest?

Many criminal cases are the result of Peace Order violations. People have criminal records and are sentenced to jail for Peace Order violations. In fact, we have defended clients for criminal allegations of violating a Peace Order that did not qualify for a peace order in the first place! They foolishly consented to the original Order because they did not understand the serious consequences of a Final Peace Order.

There is a very small window of time, usually one week, once the Temporary Order is issued against you until date of the final hearing. You do not have time to waste.  Contact us immediately to plan your best course of action.
